Fun, simple and very inexpensive, painting on glass is great fun and perfect for recycling glass bottles and jars. Different size jars can be used differently; for vases, "gifts in a jar" projects, bath salts, pencil holders, Q-tips or cotton balls, sewing kits, potpourri, cosmetic brushes, individual coffee, tea, or sweetener packets, and using your imagination I'm sure you could come up with many more. The materials you need to get started are minimal and very affordable. _____________ For the entire "Painting on Glass" project click on the title above or go to columns on far right, look for column titled "Free Lillie Mae's Crafts" and click on "Painting on Glass."

Made from coffee & vanilla stained muslin, her hair is 4-ply yarn, apron is embroidered with a simple back stitch, socks from a vintage handkerchief, and her shoes are painted.
