Painting on Glass

Fun, simple and very inexpensive, painting on glass is great fun and perfect for recycling glass bottles and jars. Different size jars can be used differently; for vases, "gifts in a jar" projects, bath salts, pencil holders, Q-tips or cotton balls, sewing kits, potpourri, cosmetic brushes, individual coffee, tea, or sweetener packets, and using your imagination I'm sure you could come up with many more. The materials you need to get started are minimal and very affordable.

Free Doll Pattern - Emma

With her simple sweet apron, slouched socks, and her little pigtails, Emma is a simple country girl who stands approximately 15 inches tall. Made from coffee & vanilla stained muslin, her hair is 4-ply yarn, apron is embroidered with a simple back stitch, socks from a vintage handkerchief, and her shoes are painted. With a line of stitching at her knees, she can sit perfectly on a shelf.

Free Pattern - Home Sweet Home Pillow

Measuring approximately 6-1/2 x 7-1/2 inches, this little pillow will add a sweet touch of prim to your home. Display on a shelf, in a bookcase, or on your bed. Add a hanger to the back with jute, twine, or ribbon and it becomes a primitive wall hanging. Pattern includes tag pattern and my own primitive staining recipe.
