Free Patterns Should All Be Working

Okay everybody. The computer problems have been fixed, however, there were a few pictures and patterns that were on my last computer that were completely lost when that computer went down. So....I did have to remove a few patterns, but just a few. If anybody comes across a pattern that has no picture or patterns, please email me and let me know. Otherwise, all the free patterns in the "Free Lillie Mae's Crafts Patterns" should be working.

Again, let me invite you to visit my regular site, Lillie Mae's Crafts, which is now a totally free site. Come and check us out. We have e-patterns, e-books, as well as tutorials.

Blessings everybody...have a great day,
Brenda

Pictured here are just a couple of my new patterns.

Back up....Back up.

Yesterday I learned a valuable lesson when my computer went down...back up!!! It was always on my mind, always a thought in my head, but something I was always going to do tomorrow...when I could find the time. It is something I will ALWAYS find the time to do now.

I am a computer girl. Everything was on my computer, both personal and business, I put everything on my computer. Letters, journals, graphics, lists, memos, etc. Then, and most importantly, my business items such as patterns I had yet to finish or were finished but not yet put up on my site, my newsletters and the template for it, pictures, business forms and information, a web set that I paid dearly for and was still working on, software that helped me with my patterns, and the list goes on.

What has saved me from tying that noose around my neck, lol, is the fact that my husband, who does most of the work on my site, has most of the patterns that are up on my site on his own computer. So at least I did not lose those.

So, now that the shock is starting to wear off, I can now begin the healing process. The process of trying to accumulate once more what I can. I was fortunate, since my husband is completely obsessed with computers, we had an extra I can use. It is actually a newer computer than my old one was, but will take some time to get use to.

I will always find the time now to back up. In retrospect I have learned this; I will never take for granted that what I have now I will always have. In the blink of an eye it can be gone. I believe though that everything happens for a reason and until this happened I was not completely aware of exactly how much time I was spending on the computer. I think the phrase is "take time to stop and smell the roses." So I will get up, every now and then, from my computer and venture out into the world. So....look out world, here I come.

Celebration Annie

This Annie's body is made from a 32-ounce soft drink plastic bottle, and she stands approximately 17 inches tall. Holding a bouquet of roses makes her perfect as a gift for Mother's Day or Valentine's Day, but she would make a great gift no matter what the occasion or holiday. Quick and easy, even the roses, you will absolutely love this pattern.

Tear Drop Teressa and Kittens

I designed this doll after a friend of mine. She loves animals as much as I do and so a doll who is shedding tears because she has to sell her beloved kittens seemed so appropriate.
